Isheda” means “creation” in the Yoruba language. Centuries ago African women created effective natural skincare rituals using oils, butters, plants, tree bark, and clays to keep our skin nourished, radiant and healthy. These have been handed down through generations and are still in use today.
At Isheda Natural Skincare, we are inspired by natural products that have been used for centuries in Africa and other parts of the world. Now, we apply the best aspects of cosmetic and colloid science to bring you products that work and are kind on both the environment and on our skins.

About us
Isheda Natural Skincare is owned by Ceteli Ltd., a limited liability company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a family-owned business, majority woman-owned. We started operations and obtained our first regulatory approvals in 2022.
Ceteli Limited is a member of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Management
Yinka Johnson
Yinka Johnson is the Managing Director of Ceteli Ltd. Before founding Ceteli Ltd., she worked as a banker and a management consultant focused on strategy development and organizational transformation.
Her first career was as a Development Engineer working on new processes for pharmaceutical products. She developed an interest in natural skincare after becoming a mother. She has a B. Eng (Hons) Chemical Engineering and MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, IL USA.
Lily Johnson-Dibia
Lily Johnson-Dibia is a co-founder, and heads product formulation at Ceteli Ltd. She spent 15 years in pharmaceutical product development before starting a family.
She worked as an elementary school teacher and is a passionate advocate for educational opportunities for young people. She is an expert baker and lives with her family in New York.
She has a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Nottingham University, UK.
